Help & feedback
For questions, corrections, and account help, email us with what happened, what you expected to happen, and the device and app version you were using. Please do not include passwords, payment-card details, or other sensitive information in an email.
How do I get the most accurate Check?
Take a clear, well-lit photo containing both the full original question and all your handwritten steps. Avoid blurry focus, steep angles, or cut-off edges.
Why did AcePath mark a step as affected?
When an error occurs early in your calculation, subsequent steps may use the incorrect result. AcePath marks these as “affected” to show that your downstream logic might be correct, but the numbers were impacted by an earlier mistake.
What does an “Error” vs. “Affected” step mean?
An Error step is where a miscalculation or wrong concept first occurred. An Affected step is a subsequent step that follows an error and relies on that incorrect value.
Why was my problem or handwriting not recognized?
This usually occurs if lighting is uneven, the image is blurry, or lines overlap. Ensure the page is flat, the camera is positioned directly overhead, and focus on capturing one single problem at a time.
What subjects and grade levels does AcePath support?
AcePath covers middle school through college-level courses, focusing heavily on STEM disciplines—including Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and AP Calculus / Physics.
How do I restore or cancel my subscription?
Go to Profile > Manage Subscription. You can view renewal dates, manage or cancel your plan, or tap Restore Purchases if you recently reinstalled the app or switched to a new device.
Why does AcePath need to see my handwritten steps?
AcePath reviews your work step by step to understand how you approached the problem—not just whether your final answer is correct. Including your full work helps AcePath identify where an error began and how it affected later steps.
Can AcePath check my work if I only upload the final answer?
For the most useful Check, include the original question and your complete work. A final answer alone may not provide enough information for AcePath to identify where your reasoning went wrong or explain how to improve it.
Why can a step be correct even if my final answer is wrong?
A later step may use an incorrect value from an earlier error while still applying the correct method. AcePath separates these steps so you can distinguish a new mistake from reasoning that was only affected by an earlier one.
Why does my Check take longer than usual?
A Check can take longer when the image is complex, your connection is slow, or demand is high. Keep the app open for a moment; if it does not finish, try again with a clear photo.
Can I check more than one problem in the same photo?
For the most accurate Check, upload one problem per photo. Multiple problems can make it harder for AcePath to match each step to the right question.
What should I do if AcePath still can’t analyze my problem?
Retake the photo with the full question and all handwritten steps visible, in good lighting and from directly above. If it still cannot be analyzed, try one problem at a time and contact support with the image and any error message.
Before you contact us
Including these details helps us reproduce the issue without asking you to repeat yourself:
- iPhone model and iOS version
- ACEpath app version
- The screen or action where the issue occurred
- The exact error message, if one appeared
- Whether you were on Wi-Fi or mobile data

Photo uploads and review
ACEpath starts with the complete question nearest the center. Adjust the frame if needed. Use Solvefor one complete question, or Check my work when you want every step of your answer reviewed.
- Select one complete question. Keep the full question, diagram, and answer choices inside the frame.
- Checking your work? Include the question and every step of your answer or scratch work.
- Keep the image clear. Avoid shadows and blur. Use the torch when the page is too dark.
- If the photo is still being prepared, wait a moment before trying again.
